Built on a proven foundation of equine therapy, the TAILS program provides a multi-faceted approach to healing that is sympathetic to the needs of each youth. Youth are taught to train and handle horses for education, job opportunities, and mental health, with the goal of building resilience and life skills that allow them to become positive contributors to their community. 

The TAILS program includes:
TAILS at the Ranch: horsemanship and whole-person support for trauma-impacted youth throughout Monterey County.
TAILS in Schools: horsemanship and riding at various Monterey County Schools.
TAILS Aftercare: horsemanship and whole-person wraparound support for youth released from incarceration.
